We are a locally owned indoor golf company focused on bringing golfers of all types, skill level and ages together to play that one thing we all love, GOLF!

Where is Hacktivist Golf located?

We currently have two locations. One in The Bull Pen Restaurant & Sports Bar in Tyrone, PA and the other is above the Muddy Run Tavern in Huntingdon, PA. We look to expand into State College, Altoona and many more cities across central Pennsylvania.

What are the hours of operation?

Our hours vary by location. Usually we are open the same hours as the restaurants we partner with. Some locations have 24/7 access for members.

Do I need a reservation to play?

Yes you do, all of our simulator locations can be reserved online by the hour.

Can I bring my own golf clubs?

We actually recommend that you bring your own clubs. But, if you do not have them with you, we do have rental sets available.

What is an indoor golf simulator, and how does it work?

An indoor golf simulator is a high-tech setup that allows golfers to practice and play virtual rounds of golf indoors. It uses advanced sensors, cameras, and software to analyze your swing and ball flight in real-time.

Are your golf simulators beginner-friendly?

All of our simulators are very realistic. The result is very much the same as what you get when playing outside. But, we have games you can play where beginners can have fun even if they dont know what they are doing!

What membership options do you offer?

We offer several memberships. You can find the options here on our website by visiting the “Memberships” page in the main navigation.

How can I sign up for a membership?

You can sign up by calling us directly or by going to the “Memberships” page in the main navigation. Follow the prompts and you will get access to reservations instantly.

What are the benefits of becoming a Hacktivist Golf member?

When becoming a member, your per hour cost drops by more than 50%. You get access to our 24/7 locations. You can play at all of our locations simply by making a reservation online. Discounts on all of our apparel, leagues and additional time outside of your included allotment for each month.

Can I book Hacktivist Golf for private parties or events?

We host parties all the time! We have spaces for parties anywhere from small to large. Some of our locations allow up to 75 people.

What types of events can you host at Hacktivist Golf?

Corporate events, birthday parties, meetings, bachelor/ette parities, graduation parties, benefit events, scrambles, non-profit events, fraternity party, closest to the pin, long drive, par 3 tournaments, junior events, golf camps and a lot more! Call us to discuss your next event.

How many people can your party space accommodate?

We have space for small and large parties. Call us to discuss how we can accommodate your next event or party.

Do you offer catering for events?

The restaurants we partner with provide catering options for groups of all sizes.

How do I join an indoor golf league?

We have leagues running all year round, you can join by going to the “2 Player League” page in the main navigation. Follow the prompts and sign up to start booking your first round!

Do you host tournaments or competitions?

We host tournaments, competitions and benefit scrambles all year round!

Can league play be scheduled at both locations?

When joining our indoor golf league, you can play at all of our locations. We offer flexible league play giving you the ability to book a bay when it is convenient for you.

What are your pricing options for simulator rentals?

Our pricing will vary depending on the amount of time you are reserving and the time of day/ week. The easiest way to find out is to click on the “Book A Bay” page in the main navigations, click on the location you want to visit, choose a time and you will be given different options for reservations.

Do you offer group discounts?

We have packages for large parties where you can reserve the entire lounge at an affordable rate!

How do I book a tee time?

Booking is easy! Just click on the “Book A Bay” page in the main navigations, click on the location you want to visit, choose a time and you will be given different options for reservations.

What food and drink options are available?

Each location has a unique menu based on the restaurant we partner with. You can find out more by visiting the google maps page for each restaurant. The menu is available for both locations.

Can I order food while golfing?

You can order food and drink directly to your table in the simulator lounge.

Do you have a bar at your locations?

All of our locations have a full bar on site.

Do you have multiple locations?

We currently have two locations in Central Pennsylvania. We are constantly expanding and look to grow into the surrounding areas like State College, Altoona, Bedford and beyond.

What’s new at your Huntingdon, PA, location?

Our location in Huntingdon boasts 5000 square foot of golf, lounge and recreational space. This location offers 24/7 access to members.

Is parking available at both locations?

Both locations have a large parking lot located onsite for your convenience.

What other activities do you offer besides golf?

We are very golf focused, but the location in Huntingdon has a large sports lounge, pool table, cigar lounge (coming soon), corn hole and more.

Do you have a pool table or darts?

We have a pool table in our sports lounge.

Is there a gaming lounge with video consoles?

We currently have a room with a gaming console for your leisure. We have a Nintendo Switch currently and look to add other consoles as we find more demand.

What features do your golf simulators offer?

Course play, range practice with full swing data, miniature golf, arcade games, closest to the pin, long drive competitions, par 3 courses and more!

Can I play famous courses on your simulators?

All of our locations have notorious golf courses like; St. Andrews, Scottsdale, Oakmont, Pebble Beach, Valhalla, PGA National and many more!

Do your simulators track stats like swing speed and ball trajectory?

Yes, all of our locations have launch monitors that track both swing and ball data.

What is your cancellation policy for reservations?

Yopu can cancel or move your reservation anytime up to the time of your reservation. If you do not show up for your reservation, we will not be able to refund your money because the time slot has been lost.

Are kids allowed at Hacktivist Golf?

We welcome players of ALL AGES and skill levels.

Do I need to bring special shoes or equipment?

We recommend golf shoes WITHOUT spikes when playing inside. You should always play like you are on the course when it comes to gloves, balls, tees and golf clubs.
